Company
History
Michaud Equipment was founded as a tractor dealership by Maurice Michaud in 1982. Not long after, it became an exclusive dealer of the Lockwood brand in the Maritimes. In 1999, Michaud Equipment purchased Lockwood’s potato box manufacturing division and began producing its own boxes during the winter months.
In 2008, the company was acquired by members of the Toner family from Grand Falls, under the leadership of Joey Toner. Since then, Michaud Equipment has continued to grow and evolve, becoming an exclusive dealer of the renowned Harriston-Mayo and Schulte brands in the Maritimes.
Today, Michaud Equipment offers a wide variety of equipment and services, including custom-built solutions. To support this growth, the business has recently relocated to a larger, centralized facility—bringing all operations under one roof.
